POPU Valve: Disco Check Valve
Disco check valves are a special form of non-return valve. The special property lies in the construction of the valve, the design differs greatly from the check-valve.
The disc of the valve is pressed against the inside of the casing by a ring-shaped spring, thus reliably closing the pipe system against reflux. If the pressure comes from the front, the dished plate inside the casing opens and allows the liquid or gas medium to flow.
